WE SERVICE SYSTEMS WE DIDN'T INSTALL

Hikvision Camera Support
in Sarasota, FL

You already own the system. We keep it working — whoever put it in. Locked-out recorders, cameras that dropped offline, remote viewing that stopped after an internet change, and systems whose installer is no longer answering the phone.

Common Call-Outs
Lost NVR or DVR password
Camera offline or black screen
Cannot view cameras on the phone
Recorder not saving footage
Hard drive failed or filled up
Need footage pulled for an incident

Your Installer Disappeared. The Cameras Didn't.

It is the most common reason people call us about Hikvision. The company that installed the system closed, moved, or simply stopped returning calls — and the passwords, the account the cameras are registered to, and the documentation left with them.

That does not mean starting over. In almost every case the equipment is fine and what is missing is access and someone who knows the platform. We take ownership of the system back for you: recover access with proof that it is yours, move the cameras onto an account in your name, label what is installed where, and hand you the credentials in writing.

Access recovered
Recorder unlocked and passwords reset to ones you hold.
Account in your name
Remote viewing moved off the old installer's account.
System documented
What is installed, where it runs, and how it is wired.

What We Fix on Hikvision Systems

A service visit starts with finding out what is actually wrong, not with a quote for new equipment.

Access & passwords
Locked recorders, forgotten credentials, and accounts still tied to a previous installer.
Cameras offline
No image, intermittent dropouts, night vision failed, or a camera that lost power over PoE.
Remote viewing
Hik-Connect and mobile access after an internet provider change, a new router, or a port setup that never worked.
Recording faults
Footage not saving, gaps in the timeline, a full or failing hard drive, and retention set far shorter than you think.
Footage retrieval
Pulling and exporting video for an insurance claim or a police report, in a format they will accept.
Firmware & settings
Out-of-date firmware, wrong motion zones, and recorders still on factory defaults years later.
Adding cameras
Expanding a system that has spare channels — and telling you honestly when it does not.
Replacing hardware
Swapping failed cameras or an ageing recorder while keeping the cabling you already paid for.

The Whole Hikvision Line, Old and New

We install Hikvision, so we work on it every week — not once a year. That covers current IP systems and the analog equipment still running in plenty of Sarasota buildings.

If your system turns out to be a Hikvision-built unit sold under another name, it still works the same underneath and we can service it.

IP cameras & NVRs
Turbo HD analog DVRs
ColorVu & AcuSense cameras
PTZ & multi-sensor units
Video intercoms & doorbells
Access control terminals
HikCentral & Hik-Connect
PoE switches & cabling

Hikvision Support Questions — Sarasota FL

Will you service a system your company did not install?
Yes. Most of the systems we support were put in by someone else. We take over existing Hikvision equipment, document what is there, and keep it running.
Can you recover a lost NVR or DVR password?
In most cases, yes. Hikvision resets require proof that you own the equipment, which we work through with you on site. We will not unlock a recorder for anyone who cannot show it is theirs — that protection is the point of the lock.
My cameras stopped showing on my phone. Fixable?
Usually. Remote viewing breaks when the internet service changes, the router is swapped, or the app account belongs to a former installer. All three are fixable, and the third is the one people rarely expect.
Can you add cameras to what I already have?
Yes, if the recorder has spare channels and enough power budget. We check both before quoting. If it cannot take more, we say so rather than selling you cameras it will not run.
Do you work on older Turbo HD analog systems?
Yes. Coax-based systems are still common here and we service them, including putting newer cameras onto coax that is already in the walls.
What if the system is beyond repair?
Then we tell you, with the reason. Replacing a recorder is sometimes cheaper than chasing a fault through equipment that is a decade old — but that should be your decision, made with the facts.
